A few weekends ago we took a fall country drive. We bought some honeycrisp apples, and squash at Crunican Brothers Apple Orchard near Arva, Ontario. Then we continued north until we got to Exeter and even farther north to Hensall where we came across Metzger's Meats.
They have fresh and frozen meats and sausages made in-house. They also have a great deli and cheese selection. Here's what we got.
This bacon was excellent. It was sliced super thin and tasted so good!
We haven't tried these lamb sausages yet, they're waiting for us in the freezer.
We also got horseradish cheddar, Matt's favourite.
And, finally, these jalapeño cheddar sausages.
We had them for lunch on pretzel buns with grilled onions and they were spectacular!
This is a great little place, only an hour from London.
